Features
  • MonoRail kit includes:
  • -8' long hand bendable MonoRail
  • -Two sets of decorative end caps
  • -Two rigid standoff supports
  • -12 volt 300 watt transformer with power feed
  • This transformer must be installed in a remote but accessible location (such as above the ceiling or in a closet).
  • Remote Transformer installs in an accessible location behind the ceiling or wall.
  • Canopy mounts to a standard 4 inch junction box (provided by electrician), rail drops 2 inches from ceiling.
  • Add up to six 50 watt elements or up to eight 35 or 37 watt elements.
  • Dimmable with a 600 watt low-voltage magnetic dimmer.
  • The dimmer is placed on the line side of the transformer. (Consult dimmer manufacturer for specifics).
  • Dimming a transformer may create a buzzing sound, which may be objectionable in some applications.
  • A debuzzing dimming coil can be purchased separately to reduce the audible noise.
  • This transformer provides a single 300 watt output and must be used with a single-feed canopy or other power feed option (sold separately).
  • 12 volt output transformers require the use of 12 volt lamps.
